"Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue ... "

...And a Sixpence in Her Shoe" - that's the part that's often forgotten, which brings good wealth and fortune once the happy couple is married!

Today, we're all about the "Something Blue". Blue is supposed to represent love, innocence, fidelity and purity. There are so many ways to incorporate blue into your Wedding Day scheme. Here are some ways (along with where to find them) to use blue.

Garter Belts:

For those who don't want to show off your 'blue' you can keep it well hidden under your gown with a silk garter belt! Some have bows and others are lacy but my personal favorites are the ones that have crystals spelling "MRS" or "BRIDE". Entiise Lingerie has a great selection (not only in blue) and you can browse and order online

Jewelry:

This jewelry line is among our faves, too. All of Loella Medina's stones are hand picked and all of her items are hand crafted. The pieces in her La Boda Collection, designed with Brides in mind, are definitely beautifully made and have the exact amount of elegance and class that Wedding Day jewelry should have!

Hankies:

While these, made by Lucky Luxe, can be used as Save the Dates - why not have one made in a beautiful blue hue and keep it with you for those moments when you'll shed a tear or two. It's a sweet way to carry your blue and be able to take care of those 'hard to avoid' emotional moments. The look of these, also hand crafted, are so pretty and sweet - you'll never want to be without one!

Don't forget there are other ways to get a little blue in - between make up color choices, bridal bouquet arrangements, color schemes and even lingerie (!), "something blue" is simple to add into your Wedding Day!
